I don't know how the facts were gathered for this but based on the percentage for USA this chart can be 100% discredited.

This map is a joke. The data you show for USA is beyond laughable.

I must concur with the poster above me, anyone who thinks that non-believers/etc are only 3% of USA, must be completely nuts.

Wishful thinking for all the religious nuts, I am sure.

Well, the source for the data is in the footer. Please bring it up with the researchers.

I just looked at the source data. For most countries it specifies a range, not a specific percentage, and you seem to have only selected the bottom end of the range. For instance, the USA reads 3-9%, not 3%. To be more accurate it should choose the average of the upper and lower bounds.

and George Dubya, probably helped push quite a few more to question their X-tian conditionings.

According to the CIAs World Factbook as of 2007 the estimated amount of atheists in the USA is 4%. It also says 81% for Vietnam as of 1999. I think this is probably a pretty reliable graph. Let's get rid of the bible belt....

According to CIA the norwegian numbers are incorrect. 8.1 % non-believers, and 1.8 % muslims. The rest are members of the one or another norwegian church. That puts Norway in the 10% bracket!
