When Sharks Attack!

i looked for shark data recently and couldn't find much! nice one. would be interesting to add fatalities, location, shark species, what the person was doing at the time (scuba, surfing, swimming, fell off boat).

Several sites have many shark attack stats, mainly USA, though they do not provide comparative stats to give an evidence based sense of proportion eg you can see the % of people attacked in black wetsuits cf yellow, but not the % of people who wear black cf yellow. See eg

that's a ton of data on shark attacks. once we get the group feature built, hopefully we'll get a shark attack data group at Swivel.
